Crazies on the Loose in Disney!

In April we took a family trip to Disney with Anthony's parents. That trip was very much needed and was so much fun. Although at times it was pretty hectic, but isn't Disney always? Parents running around like crazies while chasing their children throughout the park is normal everyday activity there.

OK here is one rant that I will go on. It wont take long, I promise.

So I would like to know who came up with a leash, not a dog leash but a kid leash? You can church it up all you want people, but when you have a teddy bear backpack and then there is a piece of fabric attached to the back that is about 5 feet long, ummmm that's a leash.
I cant count how many times I saw some poor kid experiencing whiplash because they would run but the parent stood still.

They make strollers for a reason. Well you say, "my kid wont sit in a stroller." So ummm you think they are going to stand still with a leash on. Its called discipline. Sit the kid down, strap them in and tell them not to get up.

Ugh...sorry for that! It just makes me so mad. Had to get it off my chest!

Other than that, Disney was amazing! Both my babies had an amazing time. It will probably be another few years before we adventure back, but it will definitely be something we do over again.

Is there a fish heaven?

Who knew that I could get so attached to a little fish that we have had less than 24 hours.

Last night we took Ty to Petsmart to pick out his very first fish. He did an excellent job and chose a cute little blue female beta. I could not have chosen better!

So when we get home Anthony and I made sure to follow each step of the directions carefully because we did not want to send this little fishy to fish heaven on its first night in the Hart house. I promise that we followed each step precisely and cleaned and added the necessary solution so that the tap water would be OK for the little gal.

Well as we got up this morning things weren't looking too hot. She isn't floating but she isn't moving either. She is just kinda lying on the bottom of the tank and has been that way all morning.

WAIT........
So as I am writing this, I decided to check on the newest addition to the Hart family. Good news!!! She is alive and eating! I am so excited right now. Is that weird to be so happy for one little fish? Well I am and I hope she lives for quite some time!

Check Yes or No...

Wow! Can you believe it? I still cant grasp that another is over and a new one is just beginning. My Nana always used to tell me that the older you get the faster time goes. Well as I get older I am beginning to agree with that statement more and more. It feels like yesterday that I was pregnant with Emma and here we are now and she will be one in just two months. It just doesn't seem right! My babies are growing up too fast. Before I know it they will be in middle school with pimples and writing love letters to their classmates.

I cant wait to start this new year and see what God has in store for us. Although my husband will be gone for eight months out of this new year, I will enjoy the time that I have with him and know that the Lord will return him safely to us!

I hope that you all will take the time to prioritize your life and realize that you are not in control, He is. Love you all and God Bless!

Clinch and Hold

Diapers, diapers, and more diapers. It seems to be raining diapers today in the Hart house. Having two babies with a stomach virus is causing carpel tunnel in both hands.

Although my son is potty trained, he still has not master the hold. I am sure most of you have an idea of what I am talking about. You know that feeling that if there isn't a bathroom anywhere in the near distance you are going to have a very messy problem, so we have the ability to clinch and hold on for dear life until a toilet is found. Well I do not think that three years old have grasped the clinch factor. Yes they know that something is coming but by the time they have realized that, its too late and the mess has already been made. So for this mommy's sanity, I have placed a diaper on my three year old so that the mess can be avoided!

Lets just hope that the virus decides to stay away from this mommy. Having two bum legs and then to add a permanent residence in the bathroom would make being a mommy a tad difficult.

The Beef Bourguignon Experiment!

So as I sit here watching Julie and Julia I realize how much I love to cook. Ummm not that I would try in any way to cook my way through her cookbook, but I realize that I truly feel comfortable and love being in the kitchen. I love the way that my husband looks at me when he tastes what I made, in that way that he is in complete awe of me and loves every bit of me!

I have decided to buy Julia Child's cookbook because now I am completely interested in trying some of her recipes. Well I know of one or two that I will not be trying, lobster and duck! I do not think I could throw a live lobster into boiling water. This very emotional woman would be crying her eyes out. I also do not believe I could debone a duck. Just doesn't seem right! I do believe that the first recipe of hers that I am going to try is her beef bourguignon! I will keep you all updated on how it turns out. I am quite excited to see myself! Seems like a long and tedious recipe, but I am up for the challenge! Oh by the way, the desserts seems to be out of this world...so I will be trying a few of them as well. I guess this means double time at the gym :)

Well now I am going to get back to this amazing movie. Why I have not watched it earlier, I have no clue! Bye for now!

Sprinting Dasher Almost Collides With Unexpecting Mother.

So I have sent my letter to Santa this morning regarding one of his reindeer. Yesterday as I was walking to my car I almost collided with a sprinting deer. I do not even understand where this thing came from. Oh and I am not just talking about a little deer, this sucker had some big antlers and it was about three times the size of me!

So as I scream like a little girl with my hands in the air in disbelief, I watched until he ran back into the woods near my house. I began to look around, someone else had to have seen the same thing that I just witnessed! But no, I am left to defend myself. But I promise that it really did happen. Could I make up something as crazy as that, doubt it. My imagination isn't that great!

Now I am contemplating negotiating with Santa. With my near death accident with one of his flying reindeer, I am thinking that maybe it was Dasher, I should get something out of it. Maybe a few free gifts? Wouldn't that be nice of him. If he can fly around the world in one night, I think that he could pull that off.

I will let you know how my negotiating goes.

Blur...

Welcome to the first day of December everyone! Christmas is officially in full swing. I still cannot believe how fast it has come. My grandmother used to tell me that the older you get, the faster the time flies by and I am beginning to believe that more and more. I look over at my son and can't believe that he is already three and my little baby girl will be ten months this month. Where does it all go and why does it have to go by so fast?

This world is so set on such a fast paced life and I am over it. Yes life is short but lets not rush through it so that it is all blur. Quit the bickering and complaining over stupid things and realize that you should be thankful that you are breathing and that you have a Father who loves you enough to give his own son.

After my husband and I had our date night tonight, we had an argument...a stupid stupid argument that probably could have been done without if I would have just shut up. I am not going to lie, I tend to pick and after tonight I realize how dumb that is and I should be thankful for such a wonderful man who loves me so very much.

Please God forgive me for taking my husband and family for granted. I am so thankful to You and everything that You have blessed my life with. You truly are an amazing Father and I love you.

I also love my family and my husband til no end. They mean so much to me and I would not be here today without them.
